Dancing with the Stars season Finale:
With the show premiering on September 16th, 2025, and soon entering the season premiere finale, there is a lot to discuss about change on the show. Fan favorites Alix Earle, Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron, Robert Irwin, Elaine Hendrix, and their professional ballroom dance partners are part of the finale showcase, and people are already determined to find a favorite pair to root for. But as the finale approaches, many are feeling the loss of Whitney Leavitt after dancing the Viennese waltz to “Slow Love” and the cha-cha to “1999” at the semi-finals, scoring a nearly perfect score of 29 out of 30, fans were more than disappointed to see her spot in the finals fade away. Nevertheless, the finale will give all the contestants a run for their money and really put up intense heat between all competitors.
There will be three rounds of dancing and judging with viewers’ votes also determining your crowned Mirrorball winner. Final scores with both judges scores and viewers votes ultimately determining the “Dancing with the Stars” season 354 winning pair. Viewer favorite votes from the semi-finals left us off with a top score from Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, dominating the category with an impressive score of 42, as well as duo Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, following right behind them at 40 points. Going off of these high scores and into the finale, fans are eager to see who will take the place in their book as viewers favorite and who will command the ballroom with even more creative, storytelling tangos. Overall, this finale will not be one to miss and already has fans questioning what awaits their favorite pair in the finale: Who are You Choosing?
Results and Conclusion of Semi-Finals:
The semi-final of “Dancing with the Stars” 2025 was released last Tuesday November 18th. It was one of the most intense and emotional nights that we have seen so far. It was dubbed Prince Night. This episode featured the six remaining couples; they performed two routines each. The semi-finalists Alix Earle, Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, Dylan Efron, Elaine Hendrix and Jordan Chiles all tried to embody the music of Prince. Robert Irwin and Whitney Carson dominated the night by earning a perfect 30/30 score. They performed a jive to the song “Baby I’m A Star” They also did a Vietnamese waltz which landed them a 59/60 score and put them at the top of the leader board. Alix Earle was right behind them with her Argentinian tango with her partner Val to “Little Red Corvette” and a Vietnamese waltz to “Purple Rain”. Her score was a 58/60 tying her with fellow contestant Whitney Leavitt. The biggest surprise of the night was Whitney Leavitt and her partner Mark Ballas also receiving a score of 58/60 which ultimately led them being eliminated due to low fan votes.
This came as a shock to many viewers who thought Whitney was one of the best dancers on the show, some fans say that she has amazing skill but has not shown change or growth throughout the season. After the third season of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” was released last week, it became known that she only went back to the show for the opportunity of getting on “Dancing with the Stars.” This is what caused many fans to stop voting for her. The finalists moving on to compete for the Mirrorball trophy are Alix Earle, Elaine Hendrix, Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron and Robert Irwin. After a night filled with exceptional footwork, emotional storytelling, and iconic Prince songs, the stage is set for an unforgettable finale.
