Hi, I am Kate Hassemer and I am a senior at Warren Township High School.  My interests consist of reading, drawing, photography, jewelry-making, and making handmade bookmarks.  My two part-time jobs are scanning clerical work at Creative Rehab and making jewelry for my boss, Alyssa Whitacre, for her to sell on her official website Stitches and Stones and on her store on Etsy.  I hope to have my own business called Jewels and Marks, which will first be on Etsy, and I will be selling handmade jewelry and bookmarks starting sometime in January of 2018.  Other than participating for my school’s newspaper, The Golden Blue, I also am part of Book Club, FBLA, and NHS and I hope to be part of the Art Club at school later on in the school year!  In my free time, I read, make art, and spend time with my family and friends.  I really like public speaking and I hope to go to college to study in that.  If I don’t do communications, my other major I have been considering is English Writing.
