Photography may look easy to outsiders, but it’s just as impactful and time consuming as any other medium alike. It may be as simple as taking a picture of a tasty dinner at a restaurant or extravagant as the photo shown.
Inspired by the elegant ballroom at the Brown Hotel in Lousville, Kentucky, Maldonado took the photo of it admiring its vintage and beautiful appearance before adding final touches in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and titling it “Ballroom Love,” which in my opinion is a very fitting title. She also went and took more photos during her stay at the hotel unfortunately not shown as well as “Ballroom Love.”
The next photo, “Camero,” might look simple for some people, but Maldonado highlighted one car in particular, pushing all else aside. In my opinion, I believe this piece is how our eyes sometimes are able to spot something out of many other things alike. Your eyes can single out one out of many things that might look all too similar to someone else, which this piece is trying to say in my opinion.
