I tried to be creative with that title… anyways, it’s the season of tradition and consumerism. It’s also the season for study guides and trying to bump up grades by finishing missing assignments, because finals strike again.
Again we have the same three days of cumulative assessments, as they are formally called. First are two days of seemingly normal work to start off your week. Day one of exams is on Wednesday, December 18. Interestingly enough, there is a one-hour late start here. I would have just thought that they would do no late start here, but I guess not. This day has periods 1, 2, and 4 having exams at OPLAINE and 0, 1 and 4 at ALMOND.
Day two is December 19 with periods 3, 8, and 5, and day three is December 20 with periods 7 and 6. If you have lunch during periods 4, 5, or 6, you would be able to leave early during those periods. Over at ALMOND it will be 2, 3 and 5 on the 19th and 6, 7 and 8 on the 20th.
For now (hopefully this is published before finals), you can go to rogerhub.com to calculate what your final grade would be.
Make sure that you study for these exams, get a good night’s sleep (which means not staying up until 3 am playing video games or watching Tik Toks), and eat breakfast in the morning. Tony the Tiger would think that’s just grrrr-eat!!!
Once you get through all those exams, you can finally just relax for two weeks, celebrate the holidays and the new year, and forget about school for a while. A fresh new start will be coming next year anyways, and you won’t have to worry about major testing again… until the ACT. And the spring exams. Ugh.
