Jackie Ramirez’s painting “The Cherries” is a play on the saying “two peas in a pod”, relating it to two cherries on the same stem. Jackie sketched the cherries in graphite pencil on the canvas before painting on it with acrylic paint. According to Jackie, there is always at least one person that will be at your side when you feel lonely.
