Nicoleta Gountanis’ drawing “Faceless” depicts the isolating affect that mask wearing has on our present day society. Wearing a mask conceals the majority of our faces, leaving only our eyes to show expression and our emotions. Nicoleta used techniques including shading and blending with charcoal and a 2b pencil to bring the mask-wearing subject to life.
