Philosophia: Vol. IV
A collection of random yet (hopefully) profound thoughts

The relationship you have with yourself is intimate, singular.
You are the only person present throughout your entire life-
the only witness of every moment,
the only true constant.
All the more reason to strive for the best version of yourself-
at very least, to ensure that you’re in good company.
Besides, a life lived with resent for oneself is unnecessary hardship, an eternity of judgment.
So, look in the mirror,
see the beauty,
and ignore the voices in your head that
drag you lower,
lower,
lower still,
far below the truth.
Admire the good in you,
acknowledge the bad,
but appreciate it all-
because it makes up you.
