Stargazing
Sometimes, drawing doesn’t have to have a purposefully deep and significant meaning attached to it; they can be experienced in the moment and can be reflected on later on, which could emanate a more genuine emotion or meaning to it. Belec didn’t intend to symbolize both pieces, but she envisioned “Stargazing” to express a calming and comforting atmosphere, one similar to spending time with loved ones. Both “Stargazing” and “Snake Dance” were created as gifts for a friend, and both were drawn using a digital drawing app, Medibang, and its default brushes.
