President Trump made some important announcements in his March 5th address to Congress, but in case you don’t have two hours, here is the overview.
Trump started with his big claim saying that “ America is back!” Along with multiple other comments on how America is doing great, will do great, and how awesome everything that got him into the presidency was. This would cause one side of the chamber to chant “USA” continually.

Then within the first five minutes, Rep. Al Green was removed for not holding decorum. His next point was the step he took to call a national emergency on the “invasion” of illegal border crossers. He then praised the job the US military has done to stop this as now the numbers are the “lowest ever recorded.” He then started comparing his number to Joe Biden saying that he allowed “hundreds or thousands of illegal border crossings a month.” The claim was also made that Joe Biden is the worst president in American history. Quickly switching, he started talking about how he can’t do anything to make the Democrats happy or applaud him, including if he found a cure for the world’s most deadly disease as well as more situations of the like. He then went on to talk about the different things he froze upon taking office, such as federal hiring, all new federal regulations, and all foreign aid. He boasted about how he withdrew from the Paris Climate Accord, due to it costing us trillions, as well as the World Health Organization, and the UN Human Rights Council. He ended Biden’s environmental restrictions and the last administration’s mandate for electric vehicles. He then talked of his plan that for every new regulation, 10 old regulations will be eliminated.

Trump said that he stopped all government censorship. Trump signed an order to make English the official language of America. He brought up his change of making the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. Trump ended diversity, equity, and inclusion policies in the government and military. Critical race theory was removed from schools. President Trump signed an official order to make males and females the only genders, along with that he banned men from playing in women’s sports.

Now switching to the economy, his plan is to bring relief to working families, end the wasting of taxpayer dollars, tax cuts, and undo inflation. Changes on what’s being taxed will change as well with no tax on tips, overtime, domestic production, all manufacturing, and social security benefits.  From the energy standpoint, he plans to reduce energy costs, open back up hundreds of power plants, and create an energy drilling team called “Drill Baby Drill.” There is a plan in place to make a major natural gas pipeline in Alaska. Along those same lines, he wants to increase the production of critical minerals and rare earth.

A new department was created called the  Department of Government Efficacy led by Elon Musk. Another initiative planned is to eliminate fraud, like in payments the government gives out. The “Gold card” is another thing being created, where “ the most successful job-creating people from all over the world” can “buy a path to US citizenship.” This is supposedly a way to reduce America’s debt. The tariffs Trump is putting on other nations’ auto imports will hopefully make America’s auto industry boom. Other Tariffs such as one being placed on anyone not making their product in America, more tariffs are mentioned in another story on Scratch paper. Many other tariffs are set to be in motion by April 2nd.

The Take It Down Act is in motion to get passed, it is made to help with any fake and harmful media images. President Trump in the later parts of his speech talked a lot about his plans to deport illegal aliens. In honor of the death of police officer Diller, Trump made it mandatory to execute anyone who kills a police officer, to get harsher punishments for repeat offenders, and to get more protection for police.

They are also making it a goal to start removing the toxins in our environment and overall lives. There is now a ban in place that forbids schools from teaching transgender ideology and will cut funding from any school that engages in the sexual mutilation of youth. Now on a mission to build more ships, Trump plans to then retake the Panama Canal. An open invitation was made to Greenland to come and be a part of America, though that was then followed by Trump saying “One way or another we’re gonna get it.”
