Have you ever wanted to just hang out during your lunch period? Perhaps you want to be in a smaller group for lunch to avoid the chaos? Then I would recommend signing up for the WTHS Lunch Lounge!
The WTHS Lunch Lounge is available at both the Almond and O’Plaine campuses. Since I am an underclassman, I went to the Lunch Lounge at the O’Plaine campus. (And yes, my parents drive me to my Scratch Paper meetings.)
At the O’Plaine Lunch Lounge, they have quite a few games you can play, such as the following:
- Uno (regular or giant)
- Card games like War (they have a deck of cards)
- SkipBo
- Sorry
- Giant dominoes to play dominoes with
- And more!
You can also eat lunch with a smaller group of people and simply chill out and listen to the music inside the room!
Overall, the WTHS Lunch Lounge is pretty nice. The games are fun and there’s a more relaxed experience than the normal lunchroom. Plus, it’s less loud!
So how do you sign up for the WTHS Lunch Lounge? It’s pretty simple to do, actually.
What you need to do is to go onto Canvas and look for the Lunch Lounge announcement. Scan the QR code, fill out the form, and submit it. Now you can go to the Lunch Lounge!
You will be given a pass sometime before your lunch period for the Lunch Lounge.
So yeah, go to the Lunch Lounge! You won’t regret it, it’s cool!
