February 14th is surrounded by love, some for partners and some for friends. It’s important you find a balance between the two, and spend some quality time with both. On Valentines Day, I hung out with my boyfriend and family. We ate steak, lobster, baked potatoes, and filled mushrooms. For dessert, we had some banana bread and chocolate covered strawberries. Meanwhile, Simone was at home preparing for Galentine’s. She made crepes, chocolate covered strawberries, and sugar covered grapes. After dessert, Karolina and I put on our Valentine’s Day themed pajamas and went to Simone’s house. We watched the Notebook, had a few laughs, had a few cries, took pictures, and overall had an amazing night! Some other ideas you could do for Galentine’s are; a paint and sip, create mini bouquets, charcuterie boards, or go out together. Overall, it’s important to make time for family, friends, boyfriends, and yourself!!
