March Madness: Who will take it all?

March+Madness%3A+Who+will+take+it+all%3F

March is one of the craziest times of year. The leprechauns usually come out, 4 leaf clovers can be found, spring comes, but most importantly, it’s the month of March Madness. March Madness is one of the most competitive and entertaining times of the year, where college basketball players face off in a series of aggressive basketball games. Each team gets only one chance to win against their division, putting a lot of pressure on the players. Who will make it to the end this year?

The series begins off in the big 32, where 32 teams play against each other to claim their spot in the sweet 16. The sweet 16 is between the two teams that won in their division during the first round. The rounds then eliminate more teams, leading to the elite 8, and the final 4. The final 4 is the most competitive out of all rounds, because it is your absolute last chance to make it to the finals. The pressure is on!

One of the most popular things to do before March Madness begins is to fill out a bracket of who you think will win each round. People tend to get very competitive during this and put in a lot of time to make sure their bracket is filled with the strongest teams. But the catch is, if one of your teams loses, your bracket then busts, meaning you’re out of the winning bracket for this year. But if you have a perfect bracket, then you’re in luck!

It’s definitely very challenging to pick out what team will win each round, but research can be done to show whose team has the best working players. Last year the University of Connecticut took the win and it was definitely well deserved. UConn’s teamwork and strategies were undefeated and always stood out from the rest of the teams in the bracket. The team had different plays that were adapted for each player’s strengths and weaknesses. This helped them grow as a whole as the team could see what they needed to work on, and what they were already good at. UConn may have had the dream team last year, but will they take it again this year?

It’s hard to say who will win this year, but North Carolina and Duke look the strongest as of right now. But who knows, it could be anyone!
