Last week, two students in study hall came to the rescue after finding a stack of lost cash on the ground. Gianni Millan (sophomore) and Aaliyah Tatum (freshman) were having a normal study hall when they noticed a stack of cash on the ground near their table. Right away, they knew the right thing to do was to turn it in to their teacher immediately. Mrs. Vignaroli was very thankful for these students’ honesty. Later in the week, Gianni and Aaliyah tracked down the owner of the cash and returned it to him. In the end, this story was never about the money itself, but the choice these students made in the moment. The fact that they chose to turn in the money shows more than just a good deed; it shows character, responsibility, and a great deal of respect. At Warren Township High School, students are reminded daily that doing the right thing matters regardless of whether anyone is watching. This moment should be a reminder to students that the Warren Way is not just a poster or topic at assemblies. It is something that shows up every day, even when facing small tests of integrity.
