Hi, my name is Taylor Simmons and I am a junior here at Warren! This will be my second year with scratch paper as a contributor. I joined scratch paper because I like to inform people about current events and community projects. My favorite topic is definitely politics and international affairs. Outside of scratch paper, I am involved with clubs in the school and in the community; the Black Student Union, MECS + Gurnee’s Environmental Committee & Chicago Youth Climate Coalition, Students of Service, Student Council, Principal Leadership Team, Link Crew, and the Mayor’s Youth and Diversity Committee.
